Pork Satay & Nasi Goreng ( A delicious Indonesian twist on Ham Fried Rice)
Ingredients:
2 c white rice
4 c water & ¼ c water separated
4 boneless pork chops
1 packet ASIAN GOURMET Satay Marinade
1 packet CONIMEX Nasi Goreng Spices
¼ lb bacon, thinly sliced and cubed
1 onion, chopped finely
1 leek, sliced thin
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. oil
Pinch of salt
Bamboo skewers
CONIMEX Ketjap Manis
Cut pork into large cubes and marinate according to Satay packet.
Put 4 c water and pinch of salt in a medium sauce pan & bring to a boil. When boiling add rice, cover pan and turn heat to low, simmer 20 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small bowl mix ¼ c water with Nasi spices. Set aside.
In a large frying pan, fry bacon, leek and onion until bacon is crispy. Drain and put in a bowl with nasi spices.
Scramble eggs in the pan you just cooked the bacon in (make sure it still has a little grease). When rice is done cooking, grill pork according to packet. Put rice in frying pan with scrambled eggs add seasoning and eggs, cook on medium heat stirring until combined. Serve rice with pork satay on the side and ENJOY with
